San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Diego follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I'm surprised there aren't more people here whenever we come back to dine in! This spot is a gem and has amazing quality of meat that AYCE spots don't have! - PARKING - Quite challenging in this busy but small lot! - SERVICE/ENVIRONMENT - Always attentive, and because they cook for you here, it's easy to enjoy your meal and not worry about the grill. There are several tables for BBQ, and the other tables can be used for regular dining or they can bring out the hot pot burner stove! Lots of space for large or small parties! - FOOD - We love the combo meals as it's the easiest to pick from and get a variety of meats! We love the Jowl and Wagyu Beef Belly here the most! - OVERALL - A great spot for quality KBBQ!

This is my first review, and unfortunately, it is an extremely negative one. I am very angry and deeply disappointed. We had a terrible experience. The food seemed spoiled, and the waitress treated us as if we were troublemakers simply because we raised a serious food quality concern. We used to love this place, which makes this even more sad and disappointing. It is very hard to see a restaurant we once enjoyed become like this. Because the review has a text limit, I have attached screenshots with the full story and details of what happened. If you have not been to this restaurant yet, please read the other one-star reviews before deciding whether you still want to come. If you are already dining at this restaurant, please check your food carefully. Good luck.

Such a delicious and comforting place for Korean food! We ordered the combo number three and it was just enough for the two of us to eat. The flavoring of their beef brisket was so good, I would totally come back for that! The combo includes corn cheese, and kimchi stew, which I thought was perfect. Very affordable as well. The ladies are also so kind π₯Ή

There is a reason why this place is not busy while neighbor restaurants are crowded. Food was terrible. They put MSG in every side dishes (banchan). In the steamed egg as well. We ordered pork jowl and beef intestine, The intestine was frozen one and it tasted like rubber. It was disgusting. The soup was terrible. It was not Korean miso soup. I do not recommend this place.

β β β β β Amazing Korean BBQ Experience! I had an incredible dining experience at SongHak Korean BBQ in San Diego! From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and attentive. We ordered the Combo 3, and every cut of meat was fresh, tender, and packed with flavour. The staff even helped cook the meat to perfection, which made the experience even better. The side dishes were amazingβI loved the kimchi, potato salad, and bean sprouts. Plus, the steamed egg and corn cheese that came with our combo were a delicious bonus! The atmosphere was lively but comfortable, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. Yes, parking can be a bit tricky during peak hours, but itβs 100% worth it. If you're looking for authentic Korean BBQ with top-notch quality and service, this is the place to go! Canβt wait to come back!
